Just for kicks, I swapped out the Perlin Noise image with a picture of my daughter.
Had absolutely no clue what to expect. I was guessing complete chaos at best.
After half a minute, this started to form.

Wow…. wow.
Here’s the original for reference:

Quite similar to the first set in this series.

But each trail starts on the right edge.

And each image has its own noise seed.

Same as yesterday, but with some quadrant-based color.

Let the third in yesterday’s series run twice as long – 10,000 particles trails. Different Perlin Noise seed.

5000 particle trails in a Perlin Noise based flow field.
Acceleration doubles in each successive image.

OK, I think I can stop now.

Might be out of my system for a while. We’ll see.

Yes, I do like where this is going.
